HauteSpot Networks has developed a scalable, managed, high performance solution suite for broadcast that is truly a paradigm shift. Using modified common off the shelf components, combined with innovative software, we have created the HR-IXPSXP, a lightweight, low power wireless broadband router capable of streaming media at 60Mbps at a distance of 500 feet and rates of 40Mbps at a distance of 3800 feet (distances measured using compact 12 dBi omni directional antennas at 5.8GHz). With high gain parabolic antennas, rates of 60Mbps can be achieved at distances up to 12 miles (using 3' 32.5dBi gain antenna at each end). All of this can be achieved using unlicensed 5.8GHz radio spectrum or any of our other supported frequencies including 700MHz, 900MHz, 2.4GHz, 3.6GHz, or 4.9GHz (Public Safety Band). Support for the BAS 2GHz spectrum is coming as well. Rates and distances vary with band, but do give you the option of non line of sight operation and many options for interference avoidance. Our lightweight equipment can easily be attached to any codec device or IP capable camera, or for legacy analog production, HauteSpot Networks also offers the HR-IXPSX-MPEG which integrates an MPEG 4:2:0 encoder directly to the device, allowing any NTSC or PAL video and/or stereo audio equipment to generate a digital wireless stream.
