In April, HauteSpot Networks moved to a new expanded facility at P.O. Box 4016, San Luis Obispo, CA. This new facility allows us to consolidate our R&D staff with warehouse, sales and operations, improving our communications and speeding product development and aiding in technical support. We also doubled our warehouse space to accomodate our expanding product offerings. |

| HauteLine Protocol Released |
|
by Tim Harvey
This month we announced the release of the HR-IXPSXP high performance point to point bridge which uses our HauteRouterOSng operating system and the HauteLine protocol which is ideal for streaming media such as VoIP or IPTV.
In lab tests, we achieved over 60Mbps actual throughput between a pair of HR-IXPSXP bridges using RTP IPTV video streams. Most importantly, the HauteLine protocol delivers very low levels of jitter and jitter variation.
The HR-IXPSXP is available for testing now and will be available for production in August. It is available in 900MHz, 2.3-2.5GHz, or 4.9-6.1GHz models.
Note: It is the user's obligation to comply with local regulations when using this equipment. Consult your local regulatory body before ordering this equipment. |

HR-WRAPDX Series
Gets Extended Frequency Options |
 |
by Bob Ehlers
This month, the HR-WRAPDX product line completed validation of three new radio modules that allow long range outdoor broadband applications on 900MHz, 2.3-2.5GHz and 4.9-6.1GHz with high transmit power and receive sensitivity.
With the introduction of 900MHz radio modules, users can now deploy in non-line-of-sight environments, eliviating many of the limitations that 2.4 and 5GHz bands posed.
The HR-WRAPDX2 (outdoor) and HR-WRAPDX2i (indoor) dual radio units allow for backhaul on 900MHz and 5GHz with access provided to users on 2.4GHz WiFi for universal client support. These options allow users to place access points in locations that were previously unreachable.
When combined with the appropriate antenna technology, you can achieve the maximum range to your remote access point allowable on the unlicensed frequencies.
