Answer

All HR-WRAP equipment has the ability to run a configuration script that will automatically configure a device. HauteSpot provides several script templates that can be edited by the user to create a configuration that can be applied to multiple devices. A configuration can also be exported as a script directly from a device. This script can then be edited to be applied on other equipment. The command to create an export configuration is “export” and can be run from the command line of a terminal console. It will create a file with a .rsc suffix, and it will be stored in the files directory of your router. You can copy the file down and manually edit it.

A backup can also be created that retains the entire configuration values specific to that one device. This is very easily done by using HSConfigurator in the 'Files' menu by clicking the backup button. This backup will also be stored in the files directory, and it can be downloaded to a PC. A backup file can only be restored to the original system that created the backup.

"FYI,  our customers have been using our kits since 5 PM yesterday to evacuate a flooding nursing home in Harford Co. 152 patients so far and the systems are working like a charm. These grab and go HC and eWRAP flat work. I could not be happier than to see our systems work in this manner to help our EMS and First Responders do their job. "

microNVR roadtrip1We put the HauteSpot microNVR and Global Emergency Resources eWRAP to the test. Driving 700 miles from Meridian, Mississippi to Augusta, Georgia, we put a Mobotix megapixel camera attached to a microNVR and eWRAP in a moving van. The microNVR recorded at full frame rate and resolution all of the video from the camera. It also transcoded and pushed video out over the eWRAP using 3G EvDO wireless. The push architecture remained connected throughout the entire trip including through some relatively remote areas. See as short captured video of this test. 70 miles an hour, 700 miles, 10fps, VGA…
