HauteSpot Networks is pleased to announce its new HauteSpot Certified Partner (HSCP) program and the HauteSpot Certified Wireless Installer (HSCWI) professional designation. This program is targeted at security system integrators and value added resellers who desire to build competence in the design, installation and troubleshooting of wireless surveillance networks.

A HauteSpot Certified Partner is a system integrator or value added reseller who:

  1. Registered with HauteSpot Networks as a reseller
  2. Had at least one technician attend the HauteSpot Wireless Installer Essentials course
  3. Had at least one technician successfully pass the HauteSpot Certified Wireless Installer test
  4. Actively markets and promotes HauteSpot Networks wireless products.

Benefits of Becoming a HauteSpot Certified Partner:

  • Education:

  1. HSCP participants will receive complete training on wireless technology, network design, troubleshooting, and HauteSpot Networks products.
  2. They will learn to develop complete wireless video surveillance solutions from a HauteSpot Networks expert in an introductory one day training program.
  3. They will have extensive hands on training in the classroom, including system configuration, testing, spectrum analysis, optimization, and more (requires purchase of training/installer kit, see below).
  4. Every participant will be presented with a Certificate of Completion at the end of the training.
  5. Every participant will be eligible to take the HauteSpot Certified Wireless Network Installer test for free (available on the HauteSpot Networks Web Site).
  6. Upon successful completion of the test, the participant will be registered as a HauteSpot Certified Wireless Network Installer.
  • Promotion:

  1. HSCP participants will be able to advertise their expertise in designing and installing wireless networks by referring to HauteSpot Networks and their certified staff.
  2. HSCP participants will be able to display the HSCP logo on their web site and on other promotional material.
  3. HSCP participants will have their company or individual name with link added to the HauteSpot Networks web site.
  • Leads:
HSCP participants will become eligible to receive referrals from HauteSpot Networks for leads and projects. We are often asked for referrals for installers and would love to point end users to our HSCP partners as reliable sources for these services.
  • Support:

  1. HSCP participants will receive up to 4 hours of free telephone technical support (a $299 value)
  2. HSCP participants will receive partner only email newsletters containing valuable tips and product update information
  3. HSCP participants will receive discounts for future training programs (HauteSpot Wireless Network Administrator, HauteSpot Wireless Network Expert).
  • Training/Installer Kit:
  1. HSCP participants will be able to purchase, at a deep discount, the HauteSpot Training Installation Kit (see below) which contains all of the tools and test equipment needed to properly install and configure HauteSpot wireless networks.
  • Demo Product Discounts
  1. HSCP partners are eligible for discounts on demonstration equipment

The first step towards becoming a HauteSpot Certified Partner is to register as a HauteSpot Networks Reseller. Next, you will need to have at least one technician attend the HauteSpot Wireless Installer Essentials course.

      5. Build a basic point to multipoint network
      6. Alignment techniques
      7. Optimizations
      8. Trouble shooting
      9. HauteSpot Network Manager
        1. Configuration
        2. Spectrum Analysis
        3. Logging and health monitoring

Notes: HauteSpot Networks reserves the right to change the fee and course schedule.  Attendee needs to bring a laptop to the class, see prerequisites listed below.

HauteSpot is working with industry professional associations towards making our classes and certification count towards Continuing Education Credit. At the current time CEU is not available for this course. Check with HauteSpot Networks for more information on CEU.

Prerequisites:

  • Participants should have a good understanding of TCP/IP networks including addressing and masking, what routers do, what bridges do, and some experience with IP cameras and network video recorders.
  • Participant should bring with them a MicroSoft Windows based Lap Top computer with the following minimum requirements:
    • 1.6GHz CPU Clock
    • 1GB RAM
    • Windows XP, WIndows Vista or Windows 7
    • 10/100 Ethernet RJ45 Connection
    • WiFi Adapter (optional)
  • The laptop computer will be used for hands on training and will have HauteSpot management software and diagnostic tools installed onto it

The HauteSpot Networks Training and Installer Kit provides everything a System Integrator needs to simulate wireless network links, learn about configuring and installing robust wireless connections, and gain a complete knowledge about HauteSpot products.  The kit is a pre-requisite for the HauteSpot Wireless Installer Essentials class offered by HauteSpot Networks, and can be used in future classes as well.

microNVR roadtrip1We put the HauteSpot microNVR and Global Emergency Resources eWRAP to the test. Driving 700 miles from Meridian, Mississippi to Augusta, Georgia, we put a Mobotix megapixel camera attached to a microNVR and eWRAP in a moving van. The microNVR recorded at full frame rate and resolution all of the video from the camera. It also transcoded and pushed video out over the eWRAP using 3G EvDO wireless.
