Bob Ehlers, CEO
Mr. Ehlers' most recent experience, prior to starting HauteSpot Networks was as the Director of Product Management and Business Development for Performance Technologies, a maker of telecommunications and computing equipment for OEMs. Mr. Ehlers came to Performance Technologies as part of a divestiture by the Intel Embedded Computing Equipment Group, where he was the Director of Product Management for Modular Communications Platforms. While at Intel, Bob had the opportunity to work very closely with customers such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, Ericsson, Nokia, Fujitsu, Dell, Juniper Networks, Nortel, and Lucent on a variety of telecommunications products.
Prior to this, Mr. Bob Ehlers, was VP of Business Services at Inktomi, the premiere provider of Internet Search and Caching technologies. Mr. Ehlers was responsible for all of Inktomi's internal technical infrastructure, as well as development of Inktomi's electronic transaction reconciliation systems for on-line shopping and merchandising. During Mr. Ehlers' tenure at Inktomi, the company grew from 30 to over 1500 employees, acquired a corporate campus and established satellite offices around the world.
Mr. Ehlers holds a Bachelors Degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a Certificate in Telecommunications Management from the University of California at Berkeley, and an honorary Masters of Engineering from the Cal Poly Engineering Management Program.
Tim Harvey, CTO
Mr. Tim Harvey has extensive embedded telecommunications development experience with Performance Technologies (Senior Software Engineer), Intel (Senior Hardware Engineer) and Ziatech Corporation (Senior Manufacturing Engineer). While with Intel and Ziatech, Tim designed CompactPCI embedded single board computers. More recently, while with Performance Technologies, Tim designed software for embedded linux systems used in system management of Telecom products.
Prior to this, Mr. Tim Harvey, was lead architect and Product Development Manager for the StreamWorks product line at Xing Technology Corporation. Tim was brought in to build upon Xing's expertise in MPEG audio/video compression to create the first Internet streaming audio/video content solution.
Mr. Harvey holds a Bachelors Degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is an avid kiteboarding enthusiast. He is listed as the inventor or co-inventor on several patents issued while working for Xing Technology and Intel Corporation.
Charlotte Chang, VP of Marketing
Ms. Charlotte Chang has a long track record of progressive management successes having worked as a Marketing Manager with Certicom Corporation, a leading encryption and security OEM solution provider for PDA devices, including the RIM Blackberry and Palm. While at Certicom, Charlotte was responsible for corporate identity, web site development and management, product branding, and coordination with public relations and sales.
Prior to Certicom, Ms. Chang was Senior Operations Manager at ASI Corporation, one of the largest channel distributors for personal computer and peripheral devices. In this role Charlotte was responsible for managing a number of OEM customers, system integrators, and resellers, as well as setting channel strategy, pricing and inventory levels for the channels.
Ms. Chang has also started and successfully run her own consulting and content development company, Parallax Technology, Inc.. Parallax was one of the first Macromedia authorized developers and resellers in the US, developing sales training, distance learning, product training, and multimedia kiosk products for customers. Parallax customers included Cisco, ADP, First Data and Intuit.
Ms. Chang holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Communications from Shih Hsin University in Taiwan and has studied Graphic Design at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a photographer, acrylic paint and color pencil artist and is actively volunteering her artistic skills to a number of local community organizations. |
